The Cost of Adoption

I have been thinking a lot lately about the cost of adoption.

Since announcing we are adopting again, people often ask us: “Doesn’t it cost a lot?” “Isn’t it expensive?”

Nope.
Well, like ½ a penny.

Compared to what Jesus “gave up” and sacrificed to adopt me into His family.
His forever family.
Such LOVE.
Such SACRIFICE.
Such MASSIVE COST—His Life!

International adoption?
Costs…
Nothing…
Compared to being bought with Jesus’ blood.

Loved.
Chosen.
Claimed.
Rescued.

Belonging.
Status of "daughter".

Jesus’ Love:
Never Stopping, Never Giving Up, Unbreaking, Always and Forever Love.1
Amazing!

Child adoption. Similarities. Yes.
But it costs nothing compared to the price Jesus paid to adopted me into His family.
