Today went a lot smoother! First of all, we found out the washing machine is also a dryer, so we went on a search for laundry detergent. Our search took us on a subway ride to WalMart, where we found all the necessities--laundry detergent and Diet Cokes. He he.
We found a lot of gracious and kind people who kindly gave up their seats on the subway for the children. In addition, we were only met with smiles, a thumbs-up, or no expressions at all. It was a positive day.
So, now that we are back at the hotel, I am going to see if I can try and figure out this washer. I've been dreaming up ways to hike it with me to the next two provinces ;).
