One Race

I am continually shocked by people's negative attitudes toward "biracial" families. Angered, really.

Yes, we are a multicultural family.
But there is only one race.
The human race.

True, there are different cultures, different languages, different traditions....
But, one race.
All descendants of Adam or Noah (depending on how you choose to look at it).
One race.

I just happened to be reading Genesis 10:32 today, "All these peoples are the descendants of Noah, nation by nation, according to their different lines of descent. After the flood all the nations of the earth were descended from the sons of Noah."

One race.
It leaves no place for prejudice.

Therefore, we are not a "biracial" family.
We are a family.
A family.
