Andrew's Gotcha Day

On our way to go meet Andrew at a government building:

Waiting for Andrew to arrive:

He’s here!

                                                        With his orphanage nanny:

                                                                          With Pappy:

                                                                           With Nanny:

Headed back to the hotel:

Introducing Cheerios (which he loves!):

Taking his medicine:

                                                            Napping in our hotel room:

Thank you for praying for his transition time! He did great! We could tell people were praying for him!

Side notes: Andrew is very sick. We were told he is on the verge of pneumonia. He is on antibiotic and other medicines, but he only has about a day and a half left on all of them. So, our guide is going to work on the situation for us (doctor visit, meds…).

We would appreciate prayers for Andrew in his time of transition and illness, and for Cherish—as this type of illness would be certain hospitalization if she catches it while having no nebulizer.

But, GOD! He can and has kept her from catching the illnesses that have been going around our travel group. We continually marvel as asthmatic triggers have come up, and we watch as He has kept her from attacks.

Also, Andrew’s province has extremely poor air quality. The capital we are staying in is under dense smog. There are factories with active smoke stacks within a few blocks of our hotel. Thus, Cherish must have a mask on at all times when she leaves the hotel; and she only leaves the hotel when absolutely necessary.

We are trusting God in all these matters.
He is ALL-POWERFUL!
He is ALL-KNOWING!
He is COMPLETELY SOVEREIGN!
Thank you for praying for all of us!

P.S. Even though we have no access to this blog (thank you, Jen, for updating it!), if you make a comment in the “comments section”, we will receive the communication. Comments that are made are sent to our e-mail address, and thus, we will receive your messages. Thanks! =)
