Please pray!
Cherish has asthma and is on daily preventatives--the main medication being through her nebulizer. However, the nebulizer does NOT work! We set the converter on the "low" setting, and the nebulizer didn't have enough power to get the medicine out. Then, we switched the converter to "high" and instantly smelled smoke. I think the fuse blew. The nebulizer refuses to work at all now. (Either way, on low or high setting, it didn't work.) Thus, we are in trouble. We need that nebulizer for her preventative and her Albuterol.
BUT GOD! We are praying and trusting Him for help.
Cherish was awake at 2:30 a.m. local time, so I was too. Derek got up about an hour later. We have a day of touring ahead that begins at 9:00 a.m. local time, and we don't return to the hotel until 4:00 p.m. Thus, on such little sleep we are susceptible to becoming ill from all the germs we inhaled on the plane yesterday. Again, this would be dangerous for Cherish.
If she gets a cold and doesn't have her nebulizer, it could easily mean time in the hospital. (We do have her inhaler, it just doesn't always help.)
PLEASE PRAY for us. God is bigger than all of this.
It reminds me of the VERY pregnant Mary who took a very long and bumpy trip to Bethlehem....
God had a plan.
God had a plan.
Trusting His plan.
Julie
